Love That Lingers Beyond a Date

Hurray!!❣️

Valentine’s Day has come and gone, leaving behind its traces—roses that will eventually wither, chocolates that won’t last beyond a few bites, and words whispered in the rush of a single night. But love isn’t confined to a date, a gesture, or a fleeting moment. It lingers. It breathes in the quiet spaces, in the unnoticed, in the everyday.

Love is in the way someone remembers your favorite tea, in the warmth of a familiar silence, in the comfort of knowing you don’t have to ask.... they just understand. It isn’t grand fireworks; it’s the steady glow that doesn’t fade when the celebration is over.

And sometimes, love is found in stories. 👇🏽

On the 25th, I’ll be releasing a new story.... one that speaks of love beyond roses and expectations, beyond what is seen and what is said. It will be available in both English and Swahili, carrying emotions that, like love itself, transcend language.

Stay tuned. Because love isn’t just for one day.... it’s for the ones who choose to hold onto it, long after the world has moved on.

What do you think? 😉

She sees but can’t look; she hears but can’t listen; utters, but can’t speak. A ten-year-old girl is trapped in a dark, damp pit, the meagre light offering no hope, only a sliver of despair.   One day, a choking sensation seized her, a painful lump in her throat that she couldn’t touch, leaving her gasping for air, unable to cry, though tears welled in her eyes. She could feel something runni...
